Patrick Berry v2Patrick Berry is the owner of The Westfield News Group, publishers of The Westfield News, The PennySaver, the Longmeadow News and the Enfield Press, purchased Westfield News Publishing. He was born and raised in Westfield and having attended St. Mary’s schools, he moved to New York City in 1989 to begin a career in the television industry holding various positions in advertising sales and management before moving back to Westfield in 2003 to take the position of national sales manager at WGGB, abc40, in Springfield. After WGGB was sold in 2007 he worked for the TV ratings company, Nielsen until his acquisition of The Westfield News Group in 2011.

Tanya CostiganTanya Costigan is an award winning wedding & event planner and a resident of Westfield. Planning and designing events of all kinds is a sincere passion. She’s proud of the many accolades her business, Bowties and Butterflies Event Planning, has achieved since starting her business in 2010. She is a volunteer for the Confetti Foundation and Tanya’s work includes birthdays, weddings, fundraisers, grand openings, anniversaries, photo shoots and, most recently, joined the New Year’s Westfield volunteer committee!

IMG_4007Paul V. Condarcuri, Jr. was born in Holyoke and moved to Westfield when he was three-years-old. He has lived in the same house for the last 26 years. He was the only child to be home schooled and went on to become the first in his family to graduate college, Holyoke Community College in ’07, and then the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in ’12. Driven be a reverence for history, a passion for community and a fascination with the arts, his journey has offered him many opportunities to cultivate his interests: student leadership positions in college, management positions in the QSR industry, and involvement with volunteer groups, to name a few. He currently works at Taco Bell on East Main Street, volunteers for Westfield On Weekends, is a Friend of the Athenaeum, and is actively seeking for more ways to become involved with city he feels most connected to.

Steve DondleySteve Dondley is the owner of Prometheus Labor Communications, a Westfield-based company that builds and hosts websites and develops phone apps for labor organizations across the country. Steve is a US Navy veteran and has lived in Westfield since 2002. he is actively involved in the community as the Recording-Secretary for the Pioneer Valley AFL-CIO; a member of the Kiwanis Club of Wesfield; and as Westfield’s Ward 1 Cable Commissioner. Steve is also active in Westfield politics and made a run for an at-large seat on Westfield City Council in 2013 and plans to run again in 2015. Steve initiated the idea of “New Year’s Westfield” and help publicize and gain support for the event.

pasted-imageWendy Philipp was born and raised in Westfield, MA. She attended St Mary’s High school and received a BA from Westfield State college in Mass Communications. During her last semester as a Senior at WSC, Wendy moved to Trinidad on an internship at the national Television station Trinidad and Tobago Television (TTT) and continued to live there for over a decade. During her time in the Caribbean she worked for BWIA-International Airlines as a Flight Attendant, and then was recruited as a Marketing Officer for the Product Development Department at BWIA corporate headquarters. Wendy was involved in production of The Inflight magazine, Duty Free brochure and video, telemarketing and advertising for the airline. After returning to Westfield with her family, she then continued her love for the airlines and worked for Shuttle America Airlines – US Air Regional Carrier. At Shuttle America she was employed as the Corporate Recruiter for the airline, and later as The Inflight Manager for the Flight Attendant department. Wendy is married and the mother of two children.
